#100happydays Day 17 Can you picture a Smell? Riding home from work today I rode in and out of the most delightful fragrance that made me think of being a kid again. I had to stop and look around to figure out what it was. Lilacs, I was surrounded by lilac bushes all in bloom! Simply delightful!

#100happydays Day 11 The early morning trail run. When ever we get the chance we head to the trails for our run, even if it’s 6am. This morning was beautiful, just warming up and no bugs.

#100happydays – Day 8 Happiness is after a raining day the sun breaking through the clouds. It’s going to be a great day tomorrow!

#100happydays Day 7 – Its always great to get new shoes. You always know when you need them, that dull throb in your knees, hips and maybe your lower back. Those sore feet. That desire to only run on a soft trail or the shoulder of the road. Picking out new shoes can be a chore, they are expensive and you are confronted with a zillion different brands, styles and models all claiming to the the best for your running style or foot type. But when you find that shoe, that one that works for everything, you just can’t wait to run.

#100happydays – Day 3 Running together at Scanlon
#100happydays day 3 found us running in the forest at Scanlon Creek. What a beautiful day for a trot through the forest, the bugs weren’t awake yet and the trail was soft. A great feeling after pounding the roads all winter.
We always seem to run into something or someone interesting. Today it was Wayne the painter. Wayne had his easel set up on one of the trails, capturing the beautiful spring colors. It was great to stop and chat with him and capture a selfie!
